Hi world.  Been a while since I posted anything, so thought ot do some random musings about art, my DA page, and things.

20,000 Hits!
First, I seem to of hit 20k hits.  This took a while, and I know plenty of people who can get that with a sneeze, but wanted to give a shout-out to those who have visited over the years.  I appreciate it muchly.  Also thanks to whomever keep spaying for my DA membership or something.  I have no clue why it has kept me going so long now.

Art Update
Second, as folks saw I was a bit busy earlier this year with submitting stuff fo rAnime Banzai.  Got both mascot entires drawn, and colored in two weeks, with the girl being done in litereally three days.  Kind of proud of those, and need to work to try and get more stuff rolling.  I have always had a goal of trying ot be fast with art.  Need to keep the ball rolling, but might of lost it again.  We'll see.  I have a poll coming up about maybe doing some fan art, and what character to do it of.  Since I am a picky person who only likes my own weird things, you'll deal when it come sup I guess.

Username Change
Next up, folks may of noticed I'm now blaqueandstuff instead of BlaqueCheetah.  A lot of folks already have seen usernames change I'm sure, but wnated to give my justification.  For me, simply put, the "cheetah" part of my username is out of date on how I present myself on the web.  On forums and sites, I go for Blaque ASAP (I tried that here originally and didn't get it, sadly).  When I first got this page, adding cheetah was the back-up.

Since then, though, I find myself adding "andstuff" instead.  This draws from my habit on posts on forums, and well, here, of doing that.  I even do it IRL and in e-mails a lot.  After a while, I feel that has become mroe "me" than the old one really.  I was even pondering changing my DA page to that, so being able to update my username has been nice.  I doubt I'll do that again soon.

I might change my avatar in the near future as well.  I'm in a bit of, "Try to be serious of art" again mood.  Let's see how long that sticks.
